Teaching Staff

  • Amber Gross, Director

    Amber Gross taught at CCS for 2 years and has served as the director for the past 2 years. She received her bachelors of science degree in education from Troy University and taught 12 years in preschools and public schools in the state of Alabama & Georgia. She enjoys watching her children play ball, dancing, and acting. She and her husband are raising 3 and worship at Collegedale church of Christ.  

  • Linda Barron, 18 month class

    Linda Barron has been at CCS since 1991. She has been employed as teacher for 1993. She and her husband have raised 3 boys and have 8 grandchildren. She enjoys working with the youth at Collegedale, going to the beach, and reading. She is also a member of Collegedale church of Christ.

  • RHONDA BAGWELL, 2 year old class

    Rhonda Bagwell has been employed at CCS since 2012 as an assistant and as a teacher for 2 years. She has 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren. She and husband live in the Shellhorn community. Rhonda enjoys gardening and reading. She and her husband attend the Centerpoint church of Christ in Grady.


    Heather Barron has been a teacher at CCS for a total of 7 years. She and her husband have 3 children who attend Troy City Schools. She spends her extra time shuttling children to their sporting events and spending time with her family. Her family worships at Collegedale church of Christ.

Afternoon Staff

CCS employs afternoon assistants who are students at Troy University. Some of them are education majors who are also active in their churches and mission work. All of our staff receive CPR & First Aide training.
